Dr. Wendy Treynor has a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from a top program in her field in the United States (ranked #1, U.S. News & World Report, 2009) and is author of Socialization Theory, contained within her book, “Towards a General Theory of Social Psychology.”  As originator of the theory, she offers her original Identity Shift Effect explanation of the Peer Pressure Process, lending insight into the subtle social forces, that once explained, can promote healing on both personal and group levels.
